Well at least, it's nearly impossible to join.

REQUIREMENT for entering

1. you must be a techie (in video production and stage crew) like pizza, know the basics on Basketball, have a Yahoo! ID and think that Mr. J. is a cool teacher.

2. You must have gone to la Mesa JHS. (that pretty mush removes most of you people.)

3. You have to know all the other members of the La Mesa hillbillies by name and shoe size!

4. You must  have worked with Mr. S. J. on at least three productions and must have been shouted at once before one show starts.

5. Get a trash can full of trash and turn it over your head and send it to the La Mesa HillBillies a picture so we can put it in the pics page.

6. Every Halloween you will send us a picture of you in costume… heehee and umm that one is non-nagotiable. Even if you are going as a Hersheys kisses..

7. You cannot be a dorkes malorkes!

8. You have to know how to sing (it doesn't mean you have to sing well) and send the La Mesa hillbillies a sound clip which we will post heehee.

9. You must have seen at least one theatre production that you thought was crappy.

10. You gotta have ambition! (not a real requirement)

11. You must be in the class of 2004! Unless we say that we like you enough.

12. You gotta like Pizza! Why? Well the La mesa hillbillies was started when we were waiting for a Pizza!

13. Take some pie and slap it on your face. Then take a snapshot of you with the pie on your face and send it to the La Mesa hillbillies.

14. You have to know how to shout "WE ARE THE LA MESA HILLBILLIES AND WE ARE HERE TO STAY!" from the highest hill or when you are bored.

15. You must have some experience as a lighting or sound designer.

16. You must play the hillbillies sport (basketball)

17. You must love the hillbillies food (Peporoni and cheese pizza)

18. At least ONE experience where you nearly fell off a ladder in stage crew.

19. Know how to Operate a camcorder.

20. You don't have to be a Big theatre person but you have to be a good techie though.

If you want to join then .. LUCK BE A LADY TONIGHT!

if you are all of the above then we will consider you for the La Mesa hillbillies, but the last part is that you have to be approved by the four original LA MESA HILLBILLIES!
